First Carbon Innovation production hub at Marietta, Ohio
Carbon Innovation announces that the first production facility for its biocarbon fuels will be in Marietta, Ohio. A commercial production partnership has been agreed with Marietta Industrial Enterprises who bring their valuable experience from their various production operations in the local vicinity.
CI and MIE have been working together on the construction and development of a biocarbon production operation, capable of producing 100,000 tons per annum using local sourced waste wood resources.
It is expected that full scale production will be in operation during Q3 2026 when first customer deliveries may commence. Both CI and MIE plan to use the Marietta operation as a template for future production expansion throughout the US.
